DOUBLE MANDREL AUTOMATIC LOG SLITTER MODEL E2-205B to cut logs of PSA TAPE.

Working cycle fully automatic, except for the loading and unloading of the material.

Working width: 1700mm.

Max. outside diameter of the log: 190mm. – on 3” mandrel

Indexing tolerance:+/- 0,1mm.

Programmable cutting width: min. 2mm. to 999,9 with decimal increasing.

Cutting system: two over-imposed circular blades with independent adjustment to slit simultaneously on two mandrels (one vertically above the other one).

No. 2 Pneu-mechanical chucks for outside core projection locking.

No. 2 Ø 3” rotating mandrels with 100mm automatic pneumatic expansion near the chuck.

No. 2 Ø 1,5”standard rotating mandrels.

No. 1 Cutting contrast steady rest for Ø 1,5” standard rotating mandrels.

Machine controlled by a “PLC SIEMENS” and interface operator “Blue Mode” with touch screen technology for all the working functions and display for the cutting widths pre-selection, production counter, rotation speed of the log and of the blade. Programming panel located on a swivel arm for great display of the pre-selected working data.

Blade and log rpm are both adjustable on a continuous scale.

Exact adjustment of the position of the blade depending on the inside Ø of the core and the outside Ø of the log.

Automatic return of the cutting carriage at the end of the log.

Lubrication and cooling system of the blade by means of air/lubricant spray mixture.

Bellows to protect the slideways of the indexing carriage and of the cutting unit.

Proportional valve to adjust the 3penetration speed of the blade into the material.

Automatic blade pivoting angle.

Automatic detection of the log diameter.

Automatic blade sharpening unit.

CPU Interface for multi-pages memory.

Modem for tele-service assistance made by EWON COSY network correlated.
